meraki magazine

There is no handbook on how to ‘successfully’ live life as an actor/artist. Everyone has their own unique journey, which is why there is not one correct path or way of doing things. However I do believe that success leaves clues, that there is something to be learned from those who are further along in their path or achieving things that we would like to achieve ourselves. The combination of a relentless curiosity and desire to constantly grow and improve led to the birth of meraki. I had so many questions and I just knew that Brad Pitt didn’t have the answers.

meraki is a magazine that interviews emerging actors and creatives who are working across TV, film and theatre in Australia. We discuss topics such as self-taping and booking work; building resilience; rejection;
how to financially support yourself as an actor while juggling auditions; creating your own work; mental health; and, life outside of acting.
Each issue of the magazine focuses on one particular actor. Each issue is designed to express and reflect the individuality of the actor while maintaining consistency with the overarching design theme.
